BluefishRx Update
I am pleased to announce the release of our new version 6.50 update. This release contains significant new functionality, a drug data update and many minor bug fixes.

For our Treo users we have a new product that will allow you to wirelessly update BluefishRx without the need to hot sync through a Windows based desktop. This will be welcome news to our MAC users. The Addit Treo Edition has all the base files necessary to enable this new functionality. The Addit Treo edition also combines 80 Reuters news stories updated hourly as well as weather information for 1,000 cities. Click here to download this free application.

I had an excellent response to the idea of a BluefishRx user meeting. Not having organized anything like this before, the cost to stage this event in San Francisco came as a bit of a shock. While Bluefish is having a great year, we are a small company and I think that we are better to spend the money on development rather than $100 per head meals and $5 soda's. I have not completely abandoned the idea and will look at a weekend in a golf /spa resort where maybe I can get a meeting room included without the exorbitant catering charges.

We continue to work very closely with Palm and now have our mobile content publishing software shipping on the ROM of the latest two Palm handhelds.

Partial List of New Features

Added the ability for all charge capture users to email charges securely to their billing administrator. Click here for more information.
Added the ability to print Patient Problem lists including the history of each entry.
Attending is now added automatically to the charge capture screen from the patient details.
Added 'New dose' to the Rx Notes list. Added AC Breakfast, AC Lunch and AC Dinner to the 'Freq' dropdown.
Added the ability to fully view and edit long dose and notes texts within the Rx screen by popping up an editable window.

Downloading Software Updates
To download a full version of BluefishRx 6.50 click here. If you use a windows PC you should also download and install Palm's Addit application. BluefishRx incorporates the Addit infrastructure for a number of new important features. You can download Addit by clicking here. If you have Addit installed you can upgrade your software from within BluefishRx. Tap 'Upgrades and Renewals' from within the 'Help' menu of BluefishRx.

You should have at least 1Mb of free memory before and after upgrading to ensure the correct installation of your update files.
