Manage Patient Databases
Import your patient information from your patient management system and access a patient's critical information, such as insurer, age, height, weight, contact details, as well as any allergies or notes you have taken. EprocratesRx Integration
BluefishRx uses the Epocrates drug data. Review drug information, formularies and interactions from within BluefishRx simply and quickly. EpocratesRx must be installed on the handheld to access these features.

Patient Rx History
From the patient list or patient details screen, you can easily access the patient's drug history with a tap of your stylus. The Rx History screen gives a snapshot of the patient's active, on-hold and discontinued drugs. You can easily toggle a drugs status by tapping the icon to the left of the drug name. The drugs will automatically re-sort after a status change with all active drugs at the top of the list followed by on-hold and discontinued drugs. A chart copy can be printed by tapping the print icon. The chart copy contains the patient's active drugs, the last date they were prescribed together with the sig.

Quick Drug Search
BluefishRx comes with a database of over 2,500 drugs. When prescribing medication, you can choose from the full drug database or your 'Favorites' list of commonly prescribed drugs. If the drug you wish to prescribe does not exist in the full drug database, you can easily add a new drug. Updated drug databases are made available regularly. If your facility has a custom formulary this can also be easily added.

Favorite Prescriptions
Save Time! Select from your list of regularly prescribed drugs and the prescription form is pre-filled with the sig data. Drugs can be added to your favorites with a simple tap of an icon. A drug favorite can be saved with various names which is useful when you prescribe the same drug with different dosing.

Biometric Signature Verification
Data being transmitted through BluefishRx is private and the application has multiple levels of security. Security is fully customizable by the user. In addition, all data is encrypted while being transmitted wirelessly.

Multiple Options for Sending Prescriptions
BluefishRx works on most Palm Powered handhelds on the market today. Handhelds with wireless connectivity, such as the Palm i705, Handspring Treo and Palm Tungsten C, T or W can all send prescriptions wirelessly to a Pharmacy. The Pharmacy receives the prescription as a fax. Alternately, you can print the prescription via infrared to your printer or wirelessly through your WiFi network or Bluetooth printer adapter.

Prescription Logs
You can access all of you past prescriptions with a tap of a button. The prescription log keeps track of when prescriptions were printed or sent, whom they were for and what drug was prescribed. Multiple prescriptions can be quickly written and saved for batch printing or wireless sending.
